Openlab
From Wikipal
The Physical Acoustics Laboratory is an open laboratory. This means that all results are available on-line for anybody interested. If desired, we are more than happy to share all that is needed for others to use our results. This also means that we do no proprietary or classified research. In particular:
- We do not produce proprietary deliverables. If a piece of research is funded by an outside source, then the results of this research are available to all.
- We do not sign non-disclosure agreements (NDA). If you have information or data that you do not want us to disclose, then don't tell us.
- We do not accept restrictions on reports/papers, software or data. Significant pieces of software that we produce in the course of our research go on our web page. Data that we produce becomes available to everyone. At this point we don't archive our data on the web--we don't really know how--but if you want data, just ask.
These principles apply to all work carried out in the Physical Acoustics Laboratory, whether performed by PAL personnel or not.
